Campgrounds and RV parks near Grandyle Village, NY

Grandyle Village sits on the west side of Grand Island, New York, in the upper Niagara River between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. The location puts RV travelers within a short drive of the falls, the Niagara Scenic Parkway, and the Peace Bridge crossing into Ontario, while keeping the neighborhood itself residential and quiet. Most overnight RV options are on Grand Island itself or a few miles north along the river. Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA Holiday and Cinderella Motel and Campsite operate on the island, while Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort, Riverside Park Motel and Campground, and Niagara Falls Campground and Lodging sit closer to Niagara Falls on the mainland. Beaver Island State Park, at the south end of Grand Island, is a major day-use anchor for the area but does not offer overnight camping. Expect a mix of full-hookup private resorts oriented toward Niagara Falls tourism rather than backcountry state-park sites. Sites with 30- and 50-amp service, laundry, and pools are common at the larger parks, and many operate from mid-spring through mid-fall.

For state-park pavilion rentals and any state-park camping in the wider region, reservations go through the New York State Parks ReserveAmerica system online or by phone at 1-800-456-2267. The state-park camping reservation window opens nine months ahead of arrival, with new dates released at 8 AM on weekdays and 9 AM on weekends from March 15 through Labor Day. Note that Beaver Island State Park is day-use only, so overnight stays must be booked at private campgrounds. Private parks such as Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA Holiday, Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort, Cinderella Motel and Campsite, Riverside Park Motel and Campground, and Niagara Falls Campground and Lodging take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. For summer weekends and holidays, book eight to twelve weeks out at minimum.
