Campgrounds and RV parks near Brandywine Bay, NC

Brandywine Bay is a small community just west of Morehead City on North Carolina's Crystal Coast, sitting along Bogue Sound in Carteret County. The location puts RV travelers within a short drive of the barrier-island beaches of Bogue Banks (Atlantic Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, Emerald Isle), the historic waterfront in Beaufort, and the ferry terminals that serve Cape Lookout National Seashore. Private RV parks dominate the immediate area. The recreation area is part of the Croatan National Forest, a 160,000-acre tract on North Carolina's coast, bordered on three sides by tidal rivers and Bogue Sound, and public campgrounds inside that forest give travelers a second tier of options a short drive from town. Close-in private options include Waters Edge RV Park, Whispering Pines RV Park and Campground, Beaufort Waterway RV Park, Beaufort Waterfront RV, and Goose Creek RV and Camping Resort. Together they cover full-hookup pull-throughs, waterside sites, and family resorts with pools and planned activities, so choice usually comes down to whether the trip centers on the beach, the Beaufort waterfront, or fishing and boating access.

Private parks in the Morehead City and Beaufort area, including Waters Edge RV Park, Whispering Pines RV Park and Campground, Beaufort Waterway RV Park, Beaufort Waterfront RV, and Goose Creek RV and Camping Resort, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone.
