Campgrounds and RV parks near Harmony, NC

Harmony sits in Iredell County in the western Piedmont of North Carolina, between Statesville and the Yadkin River. The town is rural, surrounded by farmland and rolling terrain, with quick access to Interstate 77 and Interstate 40. That makes it a practical base for RV travelers heading to Charlotte, Winston-Salem, or the Blue Ridge foothills. Campgrounds in the immediate area tend to be private, family-run RV parks with full hookups, pull-through sites, and pools rather than backcountry state park sites. Nearby options include Blake Farms Family RV Resort and Midway Campground Resort, along with Midway Campground and RV Park closer to the interstate corridor. Lake Myers RV and Camping Resort sits a short drive south near Mocksville, and New Hope Stables and Campgrounds offers equestrian-friendly camping in the same region. Expect gently rolling countryside, mild shoulder seasons, and easy interstate access for larger rigs coming from either direction on I-77.

Most campgrounds around Harmony are privately operated, so reservations go directly through each park rather than a central agency. Blake Farms Family RV Resort, Midway Campground Resort, Midway Campground and RV Park, Lake Myers RV and Camping Resort, and New Hope Stables and Campgrounds each take bookings by phone or through their own websites. For North Carolina state parks in the wider region, such as Lake Norman State Park, campsite reservations are handled through the state reservation system and can be made up to six months ahead of arrival. Federal sites in the broader area use Recreation.gov. Summer weekends, holiday weekends, and any date coinciding with a race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway fill first. Booking six to eight weeks ahead is reasonable for peak season at private parks; shoulder-season midweek stays often have same-week availability.
