Campgrounds and RV parks near Siletz, OR

Siletz sits inland on the Siletz River in Lincoln County, Oregon, roughly a 13-mile drive east of Newport and the central Oregon coast. RV travelers heading to this area typically base out of coastal campgrounds along Highway 101 and treat Siletz, Toledo, and the Siletz River corridor as inland day trips. The closest full-service public option is Beverly Beach State Park, located on the coast between Yaquina Head and Otter Rock about 7 miles north of Newport. The campground has 281 sites total, with 53 full hookup sites, 75 (or 76) electric sites with water, 128 tent sites, and 21 yurts. Private RV options south of there in Newport and South Beach include Harbor Village RV Park, Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort, and Newport Marina and RV. Chinook Bend RV Resort sits north along the coast in Lincoln City. Harbor Village is now a resident-owned RV and manufactured-home cooperative with mostly full-time residents and only a small number of short-term spaces. Confirm short-stay availability directly with each park before booking travel.

Oregon State Parks runs a centralized reservation system that covers Beverly Beach. Campsites and yurts are released for reservation up to six months in advance on a rolling basis, with new sites coming online at 6 a.m. Pacific time each day. Bookings can be made through the Oregon State Parks website or by calling 800-452-5687. For summer weekends and holidays, book the moment the six-month window opens. Most sites are reservable, but some first-come, first-served tent sites remain in loop C, and any unreserved site is available without a reservation for one night. Private parks in Newport and South Beach take direct bookings through their own websites or by phone. Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort, Newport Marina and RV, and Chinook Bend RV Resort should be booked well in advance for July and August stays.
