Campgrounds and RV parks near Ohioville, PA

Ohioville sits in western Beaver County, Pennsylvania, on the Ohio state line and less than an hour northwest of Pittsburgh. The location puts RV travelers within easy reach of state parks in three states: Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Terrain in the area is rolling Appalachian foothills, with the Ohio River and Little Beaver Creek carving forested valleys through sandstone bluffs. Most campgrounds in the region are state-park operated. Beaver Creek State Park in Ohio manages a family campground on Leslie Road and a separate equestrian camp on Sprucevale Road. Tomlinson Run State Park in the West Virginia panhandle offers a larger developed campground with electric sites, cabins, and yurts. White Thorn Lodge Family Nudist Campground, a private club near Darlington on the state line, sits closest to Ohioville itself. Kennedy Marina Park adds a river-access option along the Ohio River corridor. Together these sites cover a broad range of styles, from primitive equestrian sites and rustic tent pads to full-hookup RV pads with laundry and camp stores.

Beaver Creek State Park reservations are handled through Ohio's state system at reserveohio.com or by phone at 1-866-OHIOPARKS. All campsites in the family campground are reservable, and bookings can be made up to six months ahead. The equestrian camp on Sprucevale Road is also reservable through the same system. Tomlinson Run State Park uses the West Virginia State Parks reservation system, available online or by calling the park. Weekend stays require a two-night minimum on Friday and Saturday, with one night allowed Sunday through Thursday, and a maximum stay of fourteen nights. White Thorn Lodge operates as a private membership club and asks visitors to contact the lodge in advance through whitethornlodge.org to arrange a stay. Kennedy Marina Park is a smaller river-access site; confirm current availability directly before arrival.
