Campgrounds and RV parks near Maury City, TN

Maury City sits in Crockett County in rural West Tennessee, at the intersection of State Route 88 and State Route 189, roughly midway between Jackson to the southeast and Dyersburg to the northwest. US 412 runs a few miles north through Friendship, giving reasonable access to the wider region. The area is flat farmland and works as a practical overnight stop or a base for exploring the western half of the state. RV options within a short drive include Hidden Acres RV Park, along with Serendipity Brownsville's Venue, Resort, and RV Park to the south and Jackson RV Park and Parkway Village MH and RV Community about forty minutes southeast in Jackson. For a state-park experience, South - Reelfoot Lake State Park lies to the northwest near Tiptonville and offers lakefront sites on one of the region's most distinctive natural lakes. Most private parks here cater to long-haul travellers and seasonal residents, while the state park draws anglers, birders, and families looking for hookups combined with recreation on the water.

South - Reelfoot Lake State Park uses the Tennessee State Parks online reservation system. Sites can be booked up to one year in advance, and a non-refundable reservation fee applies per campsite. The South Campground is extremely busy during April and May, so early reservations are strongly recommended, and check-in is at 4:00 pm with check-out at noon. Private parks such as Hidden Acres RV Park, Jackson RV Park, and Parkway Village MH and RV Community typically take reservations by phone or through their own websites, and many hold monthly and long-term sites for workers and seasonal residents. Weekends around Jackson can fill quickly during college events and festivals, so calling ahead is wise even in shoulder months.
