Americamps RV Resort typically offers bathhouses, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a playground, sport courts, and a seasonal pool. South Forty Camp Resort adds a clubhouse, stocked fishing pond, nature trails, swimming pool, and playground, along with restrooms with hot showers and laundry. State park sites are more rustic. Pocahontas State Park campgrounds have over 110 RV sites, bathhouses with hot showers, a playground, laundromat, and a camp store that sells snacks, firewood, and other supplies. Sites offer electric and water hookups but no sewer, with a central dump station on the property. Highway and rail noise carries at some properties given the I-95 and CSX corridors, so light sleepers may want to request interior sites.
