Campgrounds and RV parks near Edmonds, WA

Edmonds sits on Puget Sound about 15 miles north of downtown Seattle, at the western terminus of the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. That ferry link makes the city a natural staging point for RV trips that combine Seattle-area attractions with the Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas across the water. The city itself has no in-town RV park, so most travelers base out of full-hookup parks in nearby Everett, Lynnwood, and Bothell along the I-5 and I-405 corridors. Lakeside RV Park in Everett offers full-hookup sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp service, laundry, cable TV, and a playground. Maple Grove RV Resort features big-rig-friendly full or partial hookup sites with free Wi-Fi, a pet-friendly policy, and a dump station. Lake Pleasant RV Park near Bothell offers roughly 196 full-hookup sites, big-rig access, propane, cable TV, laundry, and a dump station. For a change of pace, tribal casino resorts across the ferry add small waterfront RV options on the Kitsap Peninsula, useful for travelers pairing Edmonds with Bainbridge Island or the Olympic loop.

Private RV parks around Edmonds take reservations directly by phone or through operator websites. For summer weekends, book six to eight weeks out at a minimum; long-holiday weekends fill earlier. For state park sites on either side of Puget Sound, use the official Washington State Parks system. Reservations can be made up to nine months in advance of the first date of the trip, and campsite reservations can be made until 2 p.m. on the arrival date. Book online at washington.goingtocamp.com or by calling 1-888-CAMPOUT (1-888-226-7688). Tribal casino RV parks handle their own bookings. At Suquamish Clearwater, a Players Club card is required to use the RV Park and can be acquired inside the casino at the Players Club, and RV spots can only be booked online.
