Campgrounds and RV parks near Sheboygan Falls, WI

Sheboygan Falls sits in eastern Wisconsin between the Sheboygan River and the Lake Michigan shoreline, roughly an hour north of Milwaukee. The area gives RV travelers a mix of state park camping on the lake, private resort-style campgrounds, and smaller family-run properties within a short drive of downtown. Kohler-Andrae State Park anchors the lakeshore just southeast of the city, with sand dunes, a long beach, and a family campground open year-round. Inland to the west, Plymouth Rock Camping Resort and Elkhart Lake's Road America draw racing fans and families to the Elkhart Lake area, while Hager's Hilly Haven Campground offers a quieter rural setting. Further south along Lake Michigan, Harrington Beach State Park adds another public option with beach access and a quarry lake. Together these campgrounds cover most RV needs, from full hookups and pools to basic electric sites near the water, all within about 30 to 40 minutes of Sheboygan Falls.

Wisconsin state parks, including Kohler-Andrae and Harrington Beach, use the state's central reservation system at wisconsin.goingtocamp.com or by phone at 1-888-947-2757. Sites can be reserved up to 11 months in advance of the arrival date, and a vehicle admission pass is required in addition to the campsite fee. Reservations are required before setting up on any site. Private campgrounds book directly. Plymouth Rock Camping Resort takes reservations through its own site and through its Encore parent network, and pull-through sites fill quickly for race weekends. Hager's Hilly Haven Campground is a smaller operation and generally books directly by phone. For peak summer weekends and any Road America event, plan to reserve as soon as the 11-month window opens, particularly for electric sites.
