Recommendations: Here are some things that we recommend: This van is thoughtfully designed to be used completely off grid. While we do not recommend or support long-term boon-docking for your safety and comfort; It does have a built in generator, batteries and solar. You can hook up at any RV specific site or simply “dry camp” for a short period of time, and enjoy all the same comforts. We recommend going anywhere in Asheville/Boone (especially in the fall.) Some other desirable spots are Pisgah, Nantahala and the Outer Banks. As we have done ourselves, we ultimately recommend that you check out the app 'Hipcamp' for the best camping recommendations in your area. Other things to note: Delivery available for an additional charge. Please inquire for more information. Airport pickup from Charlotte Douglas International Airport is available upon request for an additional charge. We do not allow smoking within the unit or directly outside of the unit under any circumstances. No festivals, please. We do allow pets, tailgating, and fun! Our prep fee ensures that when you pick it up; it will be fully sanitized, stocked with snacks, have a full gas tank, have a full propane tank, have clean linens and packed with any add-ons that you have requested. Please remember to select any add-ons that you may desire for your trip. In the event that you or your group have special requests or extra needs for your travels, please message us to discuss additional accommodations. About the rig: 2016 Coachman Freelander. Immaculate vehicle and living quarters! This RV has it all but is super simple to operate. She drives like a large truck or U-Haul, so fairly easy for most experienced drivers. And packs a lot of room in a small area with the kitchen slide. The separate bedroom provides privacy and hosts a large storage capacity (overhead cabinets, side wardrobes and under bed storage). The queen size bed is super comfortable! The over cab loft area can sleep 2 adults comfortably, while the dinette and fold out couch would be better suited for the kids, or those vertically challenged. The kitchen provides a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove/oven combo. Cups, plates, bowls and utensils are provided, as well as pots, pans and cooking tray/utensils. The bathroom is cozy but gets the job done. The toilet and shower are separate from the sink, giving more privacy and opportunity for multiple uses at once. Massive amounts of storage above the couch and dinette for all your goods, as well as additional storage under the dinette seats. Below deck there is plenty of storage for all your necessities. There is an outside tv, one in the loft and one in the bedroom. A DVD player as well as cable hookup options. Or bring your Apple TV, fire stick or Google play to stream your favorite shows!
