We had an excellent experience with Rick and the RV. It was clean, well maintained and drove smoothly. The RV contained everything we needed for a long road trip, including a bbq and comfy camp chairs. Our family had a great adventure. We had one small unavoidable issue with the generator but Rick was quick to reply with advice, which was greatly appreciated. Rick and Keryl were excellent hosts.

Rick and Keryl were great hosts/hostess, right from the moment of pickup. They explained the RV to me, and also made themselves available 24/7 if we needed assistance. High recommendation for dealing with such nice, hospitable people and I would definitely rent from them again.

Great experience! My husband, 9 month old and myself took the rv out east for 2 weeks. It was such a reliable and comfortable ride, super easy dealing with Rick and he would respond to any questions within the hour. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed way to travel and an easy experience dealing with a host.

This was our first experience renting an RV and for the most part we were very happy. Rick was patient in explaining how everything worked and although it was a crash course, he left us detailed instructions in the RV incase we had any problems along with his phone number. The RV itself was very clean and all the essentials for a camping trip with a family of 5 were on hand when we needed them. My only issue was the pop out was not functional and although it was in the shop trying to be fixed prior to our trip, it ultimately didn’t get fixed. We only found this out a few days before our departure so I didn’t feel as though I had any choice but to take it as is, or risk having nothing at all. Thankfully we had almost perfect weather and didn’t find ourselves confined to the RV. With 3 teenagers those extra 24” of space would have been nice but we made do. We had a great week of road tripping in Ricks RV, and look forward to our next adventure.

This was our first experience with renting an RV. Rick’s Fooly was easy to drive and our family had a great time. Rick & his wife were super help and easy to deal with.

Rick was very helpful being a first time RV user. He answered questions in a timely manner. It was unfortunate that the pull out was not operational making it quite tight for four adult to manage.

What an incredible experience!! Ricks Folly was more than wonderful. The motorhome came fully equipped and was absolutely spotless. This motorhome was more than enough for my Mother,Husband, Son(2yr old) and myself. To quote my 2 year old "his favourite time" Every step of the rental process was an absolute breeze. From pickup, extensive tutorial on rv to drop off!! Thanks so much for providing such professionalism and a great customer experience. You've made campers out of us!!

Had a fabulous ten days in Rick's Folly - drives nicely, everything you need, perfect for two people (over-cab 'bed' great for storage if not being used as bed space). Thorough pre-trip briefing from Rick meant we had no problems with services/equipment/controls etc... Would highly recommend to everyone!

Our trip to the East Coast was superb. The RV drives wonderfully and handled very well on the road. It was fairly easy to park and maneuver. The owners supply nearly everything one could want while on the road. The outside carpet, chairs, and table are nice additions. All the cooking utensils, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, and little extras in ne can want were included. Pack a butane lighter, a wrench, and a hammer just in case. The air conditioner was a blessing since daily temperatures were in the 40’s. One park had the water hookup further away than most so a quick trip to Canadian Tire to purchase a longer hose made it nice to have water connections for the next four days. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions through messages while away which helped me with any uncertainties. Rick was thorough with his tour before departure and easy to talk to. The best deal for the money around!

The Venture performed flawlessly on our trip to Newfoundland. Was very well equipped with all the necessary kitchen items. On board water and propane tanks were big enough that we could boondock 4-5 nights at a time. Most nights the temperature dropped to 5 Celsius and the heater was more than adequate to keep us warm. Very easy to drive and has lots of power for climbing the hills around Gros Morne national park and Newfoundland. Keryl and Rick were great at explaining the workings of The Venture. Would do it again!

This was one of the best vacations I have taken with my boyfriend and his parents. The RV was spacious, inviting, and included everything we needed to sit back at the campsite and relax. The hosts provided everything we thought of and more so our packing was limited - and that is always appreciated. Rick explained how to use the RV very easily so we did not have any trouble. Driving the RV was smooth for myself (driver) and passengers. I will definitely be renting again!

Our RV experience was great! The size of the RV was perfect for two of us. Upon receiving the RV the owners went through an in depth walk around which was great, with this being our first time ever using one. The unit was spotless and had everything we needed. THANK YOU.

The Venture took our family of 4 on our first family RV trip. Although long at 27ft it was easy to maneuver and park as we visited 3 different sites in Ontario. Great flexibility for sleeping arrangements on the inside, while the kids thought they would love to sleep together in the overhead space they ended up sleeping on the pull out couch and fold down table next to it. Owners were great, they had all the items you need on your trip so just pack your personal stuff. Book & enjoy!

We enjoyed an amazing month long trip to western Canada. Rick and Keryl were very responsive to any questions we had. The Motorhome ran as expected and we loved having everything we needed on the road with us. Would definitely rent it again for any future road trips.

We had an incredible experience with The Venture for two weeks. The RV was the best and most comfortable option for our group of 6. The vehicle was fully equipped with all the amenities (toaster, portable BBQ, camping chairs, etc..)needed for an optimal camping experience of any duration. We particularly appreciated Rick for providing a clear overview of functioning an RV to a Newbie such as myself. He was also quite comfortable and easy to work with. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the camping experience and I will definitely book the Venture again. Thank you Rick and Keryl!

We really enjoyed this journey in the Venturer. It was super comfy and accommodated our family of 4. Everything worked exceptionally well and we had absolutely no hiccups whatsoever. We travelled from Ontario to east coast and toured the gorgeous Cabot Trail. The owners, Rick and Keryl were absolutely awesome to deal with. The RV was equipped with everything that you will need to go rv camping including outside table, bbq, camping chairs and even a little wagon. Inside they included everything except blankets, pillows and towels. Even dish soap, salt and pepper, hand soap and cleaning products were included. They also included rubber gloves and hand sanitizer in their dumping kit. Super impressed with this experience. We will definitely seek out Rick and Keryl for our next RV experience. If you don’t know which RV to pick for your adventure, take our word you won’t be disappointed with the Venturer!

Had a really great vacation on the North Shore of the St. Lawrence. Camped at Quebec city, Tadoussac and Baie Comeau. The Fall colours were spectacular, the scenery was awesome and the RV performed perfectly. as my wife called it "our tiny house away from home". We will do this again - Thank you Rick!

We had an amazing trip in Rick’s Folly! For first time RVers this was a perfect experience! We felt well informed when we arrived and Rick and Keryl have thought of everything. The RV was well stocked with all the basics we needed! Rick was always available to answer questions and even gave us a heads up about a detour we’d have to take due to construction! The RV came super clean with all the needed utensils, BBQ and other useful tools. Rick was super nice and explained everything I needed to know about maintaining the RV. This is our first time to going RVing. Rick provided a through run-down with us and offered a test drive. The RV was in very good conditions. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies, lots of storage spaces. Whenever we had any questions, Rick responded promptly. Rick's Folly was the perfect answer to attending a wedding during a pandemic. The RV is spotless and has everything that anyone would need. We were very comfortable. A big thanks to Rick and Keryl who were very responsive to any inquiries and explained everything that we needed to know. It was a pleasure to rent their RV and we had a memorable weekend.

This was an ecellent trip. It started well when Rick delivered us a perfectly well working, very clean RV to take us into Quebec. Rick's explanation were very useful and he answered right away when I asked him questions via the RV Easy app. Booking was easy and I already recommended it to my friend and neighbors. This RV has everything that you need to have the best trip ever. Bring your bathing suit and credit card and you are good to go.

Keryl and Rick took the time to explain everything from A to Z . The RV was fully equipped and impeccably clean. It was running great and everything was functional. Even with the Covid 19 situation, we where feeling safe . We are planning of renting from them again next year. The unlimited mileage was a big plus for us. Big thanks to both of them ! Rick's Folly has everything you need for your RV adventure. We brought our own linens, food and clothes and were totally set for 5 nights of camping. Rick and Keryl gave me a run down of how to operate the RV and were very responsive to questions. I would rent from them again.

I did not take the rv

Just got back from our mini adventure in Rick and Keryl RV and had a great time with no issues. Plenty of room and basically everything we could have required was in the RV as promised. (Bbq, outdoor table, cutlery, coffee marker and toaster, etc) Rick took extra time to give me the tour and walk through what we needed to know for our adventure. We stayed at serviced and unserviced campsites, travelled into the USA with no issues and given warm temperature outside we were required to use AC which worked well. I would highly recommend renting from Rick for those in Ottawa region. You won't be disappointed.

The RV was better than we envisioned. It was very clean, and accommodated 4 of us perfectly. Big thanks to Rick. Would definitely rent this RV again for our next adventure.

The convenience of having a place to leave my car when I picked up the rv was appreciated. They even provided a board game for the kids which I felt was a nice touch. The rv came with everything need, linings, dishes, utensils, kettle, and outdoor camping equipment such as a barbeque 5 folding chairs and a folding table. This a fully equipped rv ready to go with only you needing toiletries and groceries. The gas mileage can be quite reasonable, a trip to the sandbanks near picton ontario from ottawa can be done on about 55L of fuel one way ( about a quarter tank of gas) if you drive reasoably and within the speed limit. If you need to move quicker to merge with traffic on a highway it still is an rv however and one should should expect it to lumber around as such but it was able to keep up and merge well with traffic when needed. I would most certainly consider renting this rv again.

RV was clean & tidy & fully equipped & set up wonderfully for our family. We discovered that the tail lights were not working on our first night on the road & due to this we experienced some chaos & stress. We eventually had to purchase emergency lights to get home. We returned the RV a day earlier than planned to allow the owner time to get the issue fixed before the next rental.

As first time renters, this RV is it! In addition to being in mint condition, absolutely nothing was overlooked. The owners; Rick and Keryl are extremely meticulous and have though of everything a renter may need on their journey. They were very kind and patient in going through the pickup/return process, paper work and training. Communication from the beginning to the end was easy and all questions were answered quickly. We highly recommend "Rick's Folly" as you next RV rental for memorable and unforgettable journey!

Highly recommended! As a first-time RV renter and driver, I'm so grateful to have had such a joyful 8-day rental experience. Rick and his awesome family were so very gracious--offering a full RV training experience and test-drive upon pick-up, letting me park my vehicle in their secure gated lot for the trip's duration, and being available for ongoing support via text if needed. The RV drives and parks like a dream (trip was over 17hrs), and the comfort and convenience was next-level due to the gorgeous linens/pillows, the many amenities provided (everything you can think of), thoughtful add-ons for indoor and outdoor fun (games, chairs, BBQ, etc.), and the care and consideration put into wee emergency supply kits for every space (such kindness!).
