Communication
The RV is an amazing rental! It fits family so comfortably and has enough space to enjoy a great getaway. The pillows were amazing!!! And all sleeping accommodations so comfortable we didn’t feel like we were sleeping in an RV. The host were great with communication and understanding when we had a hiccup returning it at our expected time. I will rent from Derek when we need another RV in Anchorage!
Derek was very knowledgable of his vehicle and explained the RV concisely enough for two beginner level drivers to easily travel for a week without incident. Whenever we had a question or needed a reminder about any of the RV’s functions or controls, we would text him and he would answer in a reasonable time frame. He even sent an attached note through text that served as a quick-reference guide to the vehicle that proved handy and provided some peace of mind in areas with zero cellphone signal, which was quite common when traveling through Alaska. He was also kind enough to point out any minor pre-existing imperfections inside the RV so we would not be wondering if we had caused it or not. It was a small detail but it added to the peace of mind.
Derek was friendly, understanding and made it easy to arrange a pickup/drop-off time and location. If I find myself planning another RV trip in the Last Frontier, I know who I’m contacting.
