A great rental experience for a first time RV user!
The rate is a little high, but you’re getting a newer RV and, more important, UNLIMITED MILEAGE which can really help if you make a road trip of any significant length. And what a great vehicle for a road trip — it was a pleasure to drive! You’ll get some rattle in the back, depending on speed and road condition, but that’s normal for RVs, I’m told.
The “house” was easy to operate as well. Checking tanks, etc. from the command panel was a breeze. The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked some great meals there. The shower was pretty tight for a big guy like me, but the separate toilet and sink worked great. The slideout requires a special, split mattress, but it’s plenty comfortable.
And once I went through the hookups (for a RV park) for the first time, it was easy to do it again and break it down. FIRST TIME RV USER TIP: Plan your first hookup long before sunset!
Michael was easy going to work with, e.g. he’s very flexible with pick up and drop off times. I’d rent from him again.
