2023 Coleman Travel Trailer
Great experience overall. The trailer was delivered and set up before we arrived, with power on, AC running, and the awning already out, which made everything incredibly easy for our family. It gave us a comfortable place to cool off and escape the heat during our family campout, and everything went well throughout the stay. The only issue we ran into was some water dripping from the water heater area, but Jakwan was responsive and helped us work through it. Reducing the water pressure going into the trailer, or shutting the water off when not in use, seemed to resolve the concern enough for the trip. Overall, the trailer served our family well, communication was good, and we appreciated the convenience of having everything set up and ready to go.

The trailer worked well for us, especially when a cold spell brought temperatures below freezing for couple of nights in the end of May. It was easy to tow up into the mountains and back. Jonathan is a great host. He is very helpful and accommodating, quick to answer questions, flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. Will rent from him again.

It was a pleasure working with Marco! He was very responsive to all of our questions before and during our stay. The RV was set up perfectly for our family at our camp site before we arrived and he came and picked it up after we left. I would rent this trailer again for future campouts!

Driving an RV in Palm Springs is straightforward. Highways are flat, city streets are wide, and snow and ice are essentially absent. Summer afternoons can exceed 110 F, so plan travel for early morning or evening. Expect added traffic on Highway 111 and around downtown during Modernism Week, Coachella, and Stagecoach. The San Gorgonio Pass along Interstate 10 is known for strong crosswinds, so check Caltrans for wind advisories before crossing in a high-profile RV.

Most private RV parks in and around Palm Springs offer full hookups with 30 and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer at each site, along with restrooms, showers, laundry, and pools at resorts like Shadow Hills RV Resort and Happy Traveler RV Park. Dump stations and potable water are easy to find across the Coachella Valley. National Park campgrounds in Joshua Tree are more rustic, with vault toilets and no hookups, so plan tank capacity accordingly.

Many hosts include TVs, and some offer WiFi hotspots, though cell coverage is strongest near town. Each RVezy listing shows exactly what is included so you can match the RV to your trip.

How does payment and the security deposit work for an RV rental in Palm Springs?

Bookings on RVezy are paid online through the secure RVezy platform, separate from any security deposit. The security deposit is a hold placed before your trip and released after the RV is returned in the same condition, typically within a few days of trip completion. Any approved charges, such as extra mileage, generator hours, or cleaning, are handled in-app, so the process stays transparent from booking to return.
