Communication
This was my first trailer experience. I was very nervous, but the Host was very communicative & helpful. For the pickup, I was shown how to hook up, how to use the appliances. The whole pickup time took about 2 hours. For the drop-off, it was a simple matter of parking the trailer (I did not have to back it) and completing the post-trip inspection on the RVEzy App. The trailer is well-equipped with a solar panel that re-charges the battery, 2 propane tanks, and gauges to indicate power levels. I did not use the awning, fridge, heater, vent fan, toilet, shower, or even the sink. I did use the propane stove and the phone charger. I had someone with me who is very experienced with trailers and they assisted me with little things like Remember to Unplug the Trailer Electric Cord from your Tow Vehicle. I had a great time out in the desert. The weather got down to 32 deg. F., but with my down bag I was fine. We had a good time hanging out, making art, having campfires, and solving the world's problems.
Jon was a great host! Very fast with replies and very thorough overview of the RV! The scamp is really cute, but has expected wear/tear… but nothing that interferes with its operation. Used it at a site with full hookups so no issues there.
