Overall, Pierre was great to work with for communication from start to finish. As another reviewer mentioned, renting this RV is for experienced campers due to self-checkout / self-check in. We had a slower check-in since Pierre was not there so had wait for his spouse to go through checkout steps with her with language barrier. I recommend that the renter understands how to work this type of trailer for smooth transition. Plus the tight gated side yard could be a challenge for someone inexperienced campers. The 2024 camper itself was great. Helped achieve our family camping experience. Shower worked great. Automated awning was a treat. All necessary equipment was ready to use except for broken table base which we repaired and sent receipt to Pierre for reimbursement. Although Pierre provides clean sheets, pillows & comforters, the kitchen is not fully-equipped so be prepared to bring paper plates, utensils, your own cooking supplies / grill & spices, etc. We would rent from Pierre again.

The RV itself was fine, but there were a few issues that made the experience stressful, especially for someone not very experienced with RVs. First, I didn’t realize the RV was parked in the host’s backyard, with a very narrow gate. It took me a long time to get the RV out, and when I returned it, the host insisted I back it in through the same narrow gate. I wasn’t unwilling, but I was worried about damaging the vehicle due to the tight space. Also, the hot water system caused an alarm every time I tried to turn it on, so we had to shower at campsites throughout the trip. There was no thorough walkthrough or clear instruction when picking up the RV, which made it more difficult for a beginner. Overall, if you’re new to RVs, I would not recommend renting from a private host without extensive guidance — otherwise, you might run into the same problems I did.
