You're in control of sanitizing where you are vacationing in your own motorhome. Just find a campground, State or National Park, or somewhere to pull over beside a river or a lake and enjoy the Getaway!This home on wheels is big enough for 2 full families and more with one King Bed, one Queen bed, two RV twins and two bunks. PLEASE NOTE: When purchasing the delivery option, the delivery fee covers delivery of the vehicle to your chosen location, the gas to get there, tolls we may encounter along the way, and us finding our own way back. It does not include us picking up the vehicle at the end of your trip. If you wish to have us pick us the RV at the end of the trip please let us know so we can send you an invoice for that. From November 15th until warmer weather returns to us. When you receive the RV it will be winterized - meaning the water will be removed from the coach - this will prevent burst water lines, etc during freezing temperatures. If the RV is unattended, meaning heat is not pumping through the RV or tank heaters (if equipped) are not in operation then you should never have water in the RV because you don't want to have an issue with burst pipes. If you are living/traveling in the RV and have warmth in the RV 24/7 then you can fill the RV with water. To do this, just follow the videos we have sent you on how to fill your RV with water. TIP: Once you introduce water, and if you are in a colder climate, please put your tank heaters on (if equipped) and ensure that you run heat through the RV 24/7 at a minimum of 40 degrees (even if you are not occupying the RV) As you introduce water to the RV for the first time, the faucets, etc will 'splutter" until a steady stream of water comes out. When you return the RV back to us, we will winterize it (remove all the water from the system for you) Winterizing your RV’s plumbing is incredibly important, especially if your RV will spend any time at all stored/unoccupied in sub-freezing temperatures over the winter months. Frozen water lines can quickly lead to burst water pipes, a broken water pump, and a devastating amount of damage to the RV itself. Proper RV winterizing of your plumbing system is something almost all RVers need to know how to do at one point or another. PLEASE NOTE: Due to sub freezing temps in our immediate area and to the north of us we will not be permitting any rental unless you are heading to warmer climates. Please contact us for more details letting us know where you are heading prior to making a reservation. This decision will only stay in place until warmer temperatures return to our immediate area. The Preparation fee is not a cleaning fee. To avoid an additional cleaning fee at the end of your adventure please return the RV in the same condition as received. **Flat Fee of $525.00 for any delivery or pick up in New York. For deliveries to Sporting events and Festivals we will need to meet the renter close by so that they can drive into the event. Or the renter can opt to pay an additional fee of $300 for each event to cover “waiting time” HOUSE RULES: Allowable miles and generator usage are based on paid nights. So if you paid for three nights, you get 3 times the allowable usage of the generator and mileage, etc. Charges will accrue for any usage over that as per the listed amount. All “optional fees” are optional unless task is not done prior to return. RV should be returned in the same condition as it was at the time it was rented out (picked up by you) i.e. full gas tank, full propane, grey and black tank emptied and flushed out No off-road travels or out-of-country locations are permitted unless you have the appropriate insurance and documentation in place. No walking, sitting, standing, or lounging on top of the roof Dogs are allowed, (2 max) - sorry no cats, but owner takes full responsibility for any damages or excessive odors, includes cleaning up dog hair Only use biodegradable, RV and marine type bath tissue that we supply or that you have. Ensure all doors, cabinets and drawers are closed and locked before driving RV (this includes all undercarriage compartments, refrigerator, overhead vents in hallway and bathrooms, bathroom doors, master bedroom door, etc.) to avoid damage while the RV is in motion (trust me!). Refuel Policy: RV should be returned with (at least) the same amount of gas and/or propane provided at pick up, or renters will be subject to $8 per gallon for the fuel. (min fee of $75) Dumping Policy: Renter is responsible for emptying both gray and black (septic) tanks before returning RV to owner. Failure to do so will result in a $150 dumping fee. Towing Policy: We do not allow the towing of vehicles, but we do allow the use of a bike rack/or luggage rack. Please let us know in advance if you plan to use the hitch and for what purpose so that we can approve that. We keep the hitches locked at all times to prevent misuse. Appliances: The A/C, slide-out(s), generator, awning, radio, microwave, stove, oven, television, etc. are convenience items. If any malfunctions should occur with any of these items, NO compensation will be made to you. For assistance, you are advised to consult the informational material in the RV or us. RV Content: Renters agree to return the RV with all original contents in place to include any and all convenience items, inventory items, and any optional items requested in this rental agreement. When renters are away from RV, all doors including undercarriage should remain locked to prevent theft and overhead vents in bathroom and hallway should be closed to prevent water damage in the event of rain. Awning should not be opened during strong winds or while away from RV and especially not overnight to prevent damage. If any inventory items are damaged or missing at the time of the delivery, renter risks forfeiture of some or all of the security deposit, at the owner’s discretion. There will be no refunds for early returns. Please inform us in advance if you plan to return early or if you are running late. Any drop-off after 12 noon EST will result in an additional charges per number 15 below. It is inadequate to perform drop off inspections in the dark as it does not allow for a proper visual inspection. Please plan your travel accordingly to meet pick-up and drop-off times. Extending Rental Dates. You are responsible for reviewing this Agreement to ensure that all rentals costs and rental dates are correct. If you wish to extend the rental period, you must call us for approval. If you do not return at the scheduled drop-off time on the scheduled Rental Period End Date and you have not called us for approval to extend the rental period, you will be charged additional rental day(s), and any inconvenience fees incurred by the next renter. Please remember that our units are usually booked by other families picking up as quickly as the same day. Late fee of up to $100 per hour on the scheduled return day for any RV not returned by NOON EST. Late fee is reduced by 50% if the owner grants their approval to return late. All late returns are subject to owner availability. By taking possession of this rental you are agreeing that you were given the full walk-through of the RV and have found that everything with the vehicle is found to be acceptable, is as advertised, and in proper working order. You also agree that the services you purchased are considered rendered upon your predeparture inspection of the vehicle, signing of this contract, and leaving with the vehicle to start your reserved rental dates. The delivery charge does include gas, tolls, and us finding our own way back, the delivery fee does not include returning at the end of your adventure and picking up the RV, this would require a separate fee and event, this is called the pick up fee, and the pick up fee would be the same amount as the delivery fee assuming of course that that the pick up location is the same as the return location. Delivery to an event or festival that requires excessive wait times of more than 30 minutes will carry an additional fee equal to $100 per hour or part of. No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the RV, any evidence will be subject to a $500.00 “additional” cleaning fee. This allows for ozone treatment. Be aware of your deductable, we have seen that in some cases your deductable may be as high as $4,000 - which means you pay the first $4k - be aware of this, it may make you a safer and more conscientious driver. Accidents and damages can happen, please report any accidents or damages as soon as they happen, your proactiveness may mean we can order a part and have it arrive quickly and thus not have to cancel the next families holiday of a lifetime. Have a can-do attitude and realize that this is still camping, and in camping sometimes things happen that you have to roll with. Use plenty of water in the toilets - this will prevent poop periods, if we need to snake the toilet, then an additional fee will apply. Festival fee is mandatory if the RV will be taken to an event or it covers the event dates. Unless confirmed that the RV will not be brought to the festival/event.
