Nestled in the forested South Area of Forillon National Park on the tip of Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula, Petit-Gaspé Campground South offers a peaceful woodland retreat within one of Canada's most scenic national parks. With 167 campsites ranging from unserviced to full water-and-electrical hookups (30 amps), this campground accommodates a wide range of RV setups, including pull-through sites in loop A. Campers enjoy access to a swimming pool, playground, coin-operated laundry facilities, picnic tables, and firewood. A dump station is conveniently located at the campground entrance, with water outlets distributed throughout the loops. Pet-friendly and family-oriented, the campground also features an amphitheatre where Parks Canada staff lead evening interpretive programs. Cooking must be done outdoors or in designated service building kitchens in keeping with wildlife safety protocols — a reminder of the wild Gaspésie environment just outside your door. Forillon National Park surrounds the campground with opportunities for hiking, whale watching, sea kayaking, and wildlife observation along the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Situated near the village of Grande-Grève and a short drive from the city of Gaspé, this wooded campground is an ideal base for exploring the natural wonders of the Gaspé coast.
