RV rentals and campgrounds for Indiana State Fair

Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, IN, US

Indianapolis is famously called the Crossroads of America, so driving an RV to the Indiana State Fair is refreshingly straightforward via I-65, I-69, I-70, I-74, and the I-465 beltway. Coming on I-70 from the east, take Exit 85 to Keystone Avenue and turn left onto East 38th Street, which leads directly to the fairgrounds. From I-65 southbound out of Chicago, use Exit 119 for West 38th Street and head east across the city, or from I-69 out of Fort Wayne follow Binford Boulevard as it becomes Fall Creek Parkway, then turn right onto East 38th Street. Main entrances include Gate 1 on 38th Street, Gate 2 on 42nd Street, and Gate 6 on Fall Creek Parkway, and the grounds offer more than 7,000 paved parking spaces with a per-vehicle facility charge. If you have reserved a spot at the fairgrounds campground, arrive during the afternoon check-in window and call security once you are parked so they can unlock your electrical box. Arriving early in the day makes maneuvering a larger rig through city streets and fair traffic much easier.
