Best time to visit Daroga State Park

Late May through mid-September is the prime window, when daytime highs are warm, the Columbia River is ideal for swimming and paddling, and the campground is fully open. July and August bring peak crowds and advance reservations fill quickly, so midweek stays are easier to book. Shoulder months of April, May, and October offer cooler weather, lighter traffic, and pleasant conditions for cycling and fishing, though nights can be cold. Winter visits are limited as the campground typically closes in the off-season.

Stayed in the camper for two nights at a campground just outside Wenatchee. Had everything we needed, the AC was an absolute saver in the summer heat. Host was incredibly responsive and nice, would happily rent again.
