Late May through early September is the most popular window, with warm ocean temperatures, long daylight hours, and full campground services. July and August bring the biggest crowds and highest demand for reservations, so booking well ahead is essential. Shoulder months like mid-May, June, and September offer cooler nights, fewer bugs, and easier site availability, which is ideal for RV travelers who want a quieter coastal experience. The campground is seasonal and closes in late fall.

The RV was just what we ordered. Perfectly happy with it. The first day or two we had some questions which Scott addressed. He is very accessible. And very straightforward.

Fishermen's Memorial State Park, RI, United States
Fishermen's Memorial State Park is located off Point Judith Road (Route 108) in Narragansett, about a 35 to 45 minute drive south of Providence via Route 4 and Route 1, and roughly 90 minutes (about 75 miles) from Boston. From New York City it is approximately a 3.5 hour drive, around 175 miles, via I-95 North. RV drivers should note that Route 138 across the Jamestown and Newport bridges has toll and height considerations, and local roads near Point Judith can be narrow and congested in summer. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent travelers is T.F. Green International Airport in Warwick, about 25 miles north.
