Mark Twain State Park is located in north-central Missouri near Florida, Missouri, approximately 130 miles (2.5 hours) northwest of St. Louis, 1.5 hours from Jefferson City, and 1 hour 10 minutes from Columbia. St. Louis Lambert International Airport is the nearest major airport, about 2.5 hours away. Note that access roads to the park are winding and narrow with low-hanging branches; drive slowly with large RVs and trailers. Once inside the park, roads are well-maintained for RV access.
