The best time to visit Red Lodge Provincial Park is May through September, during the official camping season when facilities are open. Summer months (June through August) offer the warmest weather and most stable conditions for RV camping and water activities. May and September shoulder seasons provide pleasant temperatures with fewer crowds, though weather can be more unpredictable. Winter months are not ideal for RV camping as the park facilities close and road conditions may be challenging.
