Best time to visit Twin Lakes State Park

Late spring through early fall is generally the best window for RV travel to Twin Lakes State Park, when the swimming beach, boat rentals, and full campground services are operating. Summer days are warm and humid with afternoon thunderstorms, so May, June, and September often deliver the most comfortable mix of warm water and lower humidity. October brings cool nights, fall color in the surrounding hardwoods, and lighter crowds, making it a strong shoulder-season choice for RVers. Winter visits are quiet and scenic but expect reduced services and chilly nights at the campground.

How to get to Twin Lakes State Park
