Late summer through early fall, August to October, offers the most reliable weather with clearer skies and temperatures in the 60s to 70s Fahrenheit. June through September are the driest months. Winter brings heavier rainfall and cooler temperatures but fewer crowds, with shore access remaining open. Spring, April to May, offers moderate conditions and mild weather. Note that Abalone Point Campground is closed until June 1 for restoration work.
