The park is located 30 km northwest of Hinton via Highway 16 and Highway 40, approximately 1-1.5 hours southwest of Jasper. Highway 40 winds through the foothills with steep grades and narrow sections, so RV drivers should exercise caution with larger units and check road conditions before travel, especially in winter when snow closures can occur. Cell service is limited along Highway 40, so plan fuel stops and communication accordingly.
