Water activities anchor most trips. Long Lake Provincial Park supports canoeing, power boating, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, and fishing, with long sandy beaches for families. Long Lake Provincial Park has both unserviced and power sites plus walk-in tent sites, a concession, showers, a sani station, flush toilets, and a sandy beach. North Buck Lake Recreational Area offers powered and unpowered loops, waterfront sites, and a sandy beach, with services in the immediate area limited. Astotin Lake Campground has 75 unserviced sites suitable for RVs, plus five oTENTik units, with accessible washrooms and showers, a shared kitchen shelter, potable water, fire pits, and an RV dump station across from the campground entrance. Bears and bison are present in the area, so all food and scented items must be stored in a hard-sided vehicle or bear-proof locker.
