Jana is easily one of the most incredible hosts my husband and I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and created a seamless experience for our little family's first camping trip. The RV is stunning and in excellent condition. We towed our boat behind the unit and had great peace of mind, as there’s a backup camera that allows you to keep an eye on it at all times. The RV is stocked so intuitively, which made our camping experience even more enjoyable. Camping with a baby can feel intimidating, but this unit was the key to really making it feel like a little home away from home. Thank you again for such a great experience. Alberta Parks handles Long Lake Provincial Park and North Buck Lake Recreational Area through reserve.albertaparks.ca, where sites at Long Lake can be reserved up to 90 days in advance of the arrival date. Long Lake Provincial Park has both unserviced and power sites plus walk-in tent sites, a concession, showers, a sani station, flush toilets, and a sandy beach. North Buck Lake Recreational Area offers powered and unpowered loops, waterfront sites, and a sandy beach, with services in the immediate area limited. Astotin Lake Campground has 75 unserviced sites suitable for RVs, plus five oTENTik units, with accessible washrooms and showers, a shared kitchen shelter, potable water, fire pits, and an RV dump station across from the campground entrance. Bears and bison are present in the area, so all food and scented items must be stored in a hard-sided vehicle or bear-proof locker.
