Campgrounds and RV parks near Bourget, ON

Bourget is an unincorporated village in Eastern Ontario, near Cobbs Lake Creek, in the city of Clarence-Rockland in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. It sits about a 40-minute drive east of downtown Ottawa, which makes it a practical base for RV travellers who want quiet country nights and easy access to the National Capital Region. The area is defined by two landscapes: the Ottawa River corridor to the north and the reclaimed sand plain of the Larose Forest to the south. Larose Forest is a roughly 10,900-hectare county-managed forest, the second-largest man-made forest in southern Ontario, planted from the 1920s onward on land once known as the Bourget Desert. Clarence-Rockland describes Bourget as surrounded by Larose Forest, connected to the Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail, and marked by a strong francophone identity. RV options near Bourget range from smaller rural parks like Hammond Hill and Kittawa RV Resort to full-service sites at Rolling Hills Campground Ottawa and Evergreen Camping Resort. Across the Ottawa River in Quebec, Plaisance Provincial Park adds a Sepaq option within an easy drive.

Private campgrounds around Bourget, including Hammond Hill, Kittawa RV Resort, Rolling Hills Campground Ottawa and Evergreen Camping Resort, take reservations directly through their own websites, by phone, or through third-party RV booking platforms. Full-service RV sites with 30 and 50 amp power book earliest for summer weekends, so plan several weeks out for July and August stays. Rolling Hills is adults-only and gated, so confirm site type and age policy at booking. Plaisance Provincial Park is operated by Sepaq, and reservations are made through the sepaq.com website or by phone. The Sepaq camping booking window opens roughly four months ahead of the arrival date, and a daily park access fee applies in addition to the site fee, so buying access online in advance or holding an annual card is recommended.
