Batiscan sits on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec's Mauricie region, roughly midway between Trois-Rivières and Quebec City. The village fronts the mouth of the Batiscan River, and most nearby campgrounds cluster along that river corridor, the St. Lawrence shoreline, or inland lakes within a short drive.
