Winter shifts the area's focus to alpine and cross-country skiing at Sommet Morin Heights, with most RV-friendly campgrounds closed; at Voyageur, the Champlain Campground reopens for a winter season from mid-December to mid-March.

Voyageur Provincial Park has more than 400 sites across its Champlain, Iroquois, and Portage campgrounds, with roughly 150 electrical sites at 30-amp service, water taps, comfort stations with showers and laundry, and a dump station.
