Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-David, QC

Saint-David is a small village in the Nicolet-Yamaska RCM of Quebec's Centre-du-Québec region, set on the south side of the St. Lawrence corridor between Montreal and Trois-Rivières. The surrounding farmland and river plain place it within easy reach of several private campgrounds suited to RV travellers, plus the broader Lac Saint-Pierre Biosphere Reserve. Closest to the village, Camping au Soleil Levant sits in Saint-Eugène-de-Grantham, halfway between Montreal and Quebec City and just two kilometres from Highway 20, making it convenient for travellers crossing Centre-du-Québec. Camping Plage La Liberte and Camping Domaine Des Erables offer additional options in the rural area south of the river. North toward Nicolet, Camping Port St Francois sits on the shores of the St. Lawrence about seven kilometres from Trois-Rivières, with serviced sites and a sandy beach on Lac Saint-Pierre. Camping Domaine Madalie rounds out the local cluster. Most parks in this area are private, seasonal, and family-oriented, with a mix of serviced RV sites, tent areas, and ready-to-camp units.

Private campgrounds around Saint-David handle their own reservations directly through their websites, by phone, or by email. Sites are assigned, so booking ahead is important for holiday weekends, especially Saint-Jean-Baptiste on June 24, Canada Day, and the late-July construction holiday, when Quebec families travel in large numbers. Camping Port St Francois and Camping au Soleil Levant both publish seasonal contact details and online reservation forms on their own sites. For provincial parks in the broader region, such as Parc national de la Yamaska, reservations go through Sépaq at sepaq.com, and a separate daily park access fee applies on top of the camping rate.
