Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford, QC

Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford sits in the Haute-Yamaska region of Quebec's Eastern Townships, surrounded by rolling farmland, the Shefford and Bromont hills, and a network of lakes and rivers. RV travellers use the village as a quiet base within a short drive of Granby, Bromont, and Parc national de la Yamaska, which together form the area's main draw for families. Nearby campgrounds range from small rural grounds to larger commercial parks with full hookups. Camping de l'Ile and Domaine Des Erables Inc offer rural settings within the surrounding farm and forest landscape. Camping Granby provides easier access to the Granby Zoo and the urban services of the city. Camping Parc Bromont and Camping Vacances Bromont sit near Mont Bromont, close to the ski hill, water park, and an extensive cycling network. Most private campgrounds in this corridor accept RVs in standard Class C and travel-trailer lengths, with 30-amp service common and 50-amp available at the larger sites.

Sépaq handles reservations for Parc national de la Yamaska through its central booking site and call centre. For Quebec's national parks, Sépaq opens summer campsite bookings in early November of the previous year, so popular weekends sell quickly once the window opens. A daily park access fee applies on top of the campsite rate and should be purchased online before arrival. Private campgrounds such as Camping de l'Ile, Camping Parc Bromont, Camping Vacances Bromont, Domaine Des Erables Inc, and Camping Granby each manage their own bookings by phone or through their websites. For July and August weekends, plan to book well in advance, and confirm RV length, slide-out clearance, and amp service when reserving. Many private grounds require a deposit and enforce minimum stays on long weekends.
