Campgrounds and RV parks near Sainte-Anne-de-la-Rochelle, QC

Parc national du Mont-Orford is the area's main draw. The Lac-Stukely sector has a supervised beach, a watercraft rental centre, a beachside restaurant, and access to the park's hiking and cycling network, including the 10.6 km easy-level path linking Le Cerisier Visitors Centre to Opeongo Visitors Centre and the 5.5 km Des Trois-Étangs family bike loop past forest ponds. Foot access to the Mont-Orford summit is free; the chairlift is run separately by Corporation ski et golf Mont-Orford. Off-park options include the Estriade and Campagnarde rail-trails, swimming and boat launches on Lac Memphrémagog and Lac Brome, and the spa villages of Eastman and Bromont. Most private campgrounds in the area also keep on-site pools, playgrounds, and short forest walking trails.

The Eastern Townships camping season is short and weather-driven. Mont-Orford's three main campgrounds open in mid-May and close in mid-October, with the Lac-Stukely sector running from early May through mid-October and the Lac-Fraser sector operating a shorter mid-June to early-September window. Private parks in the area follow a similar pattern, usually opening around the Journée des patriotes long weekend in May and closing after Canadian Thanksgiving in October. July and August are the busiest months and the warmest, with the best swimming and the highest demand for serviced RV sites. June and September are quieter shoulder months: cooler nights, fewer bugs by late September, and easier last-minute reservations. Late September into early October brings peak fall colour in the sugar maple forests that dominate the region, a popular window for RV foliage trips. Winter shuts down most RV camping; only rustic platforms in Mont-Orford's Le Vallonnier sector stay accessible by snowshoe or cross-country ski.

Roads in the area are paved secondary highways and rural routes, generally easy for large Class A and Class C rigs, though some private campground access roads are gravel and hilly. Sites at Domaine Des Cantons Inc include serviced pads with 30 and 50 amp service, suited to larger motorhomes and trailers. Sépaq sites at Lac-Stukely include both serviced and unserviced loops in mature forest; expect tight tree cover on some pull-throughs. Supervised beaches, flush toilets, and showers are standard at the larger parks, with accessible washrooms at Mont-Orford's visitor centres and wheelchair-accessible showers at the Lac-Stukely and Lac-Fraser campgrounds. Black flies and mosquitoes peak from late May through June. Cell coverage is reliable in the villages but patchy on forest trails. French is the working language; most campground staff in the Townships also speak some English.
