Campgrounds and RV parks near Valcourt, QC

Valcourt sits in the Eastern Townships of southern Quebec, in the Val-Saint-François region between Granby and Sherbrooke. RV travellers use it as a base for the rolling farmland, lakes, and forested hills typical of the Cantons-de-l'Est. The town itself is small and best known as the birthplace of Joseph-Armand Bombardier and the headquarters of BRP, but the surrounding area holds the campground inventory most renters care about. The closest private campground is Camping Plage Mckenzie on Grand Lac Brompton in Racine, a family operation built around a long sandy beach and a navigable lake. Within a forty-minute drive south, Parc national du Mont-Orford offers two large public campgrounds, Lac Stukely - Mont Orford Provincial Park and Lac Fraser - Mont Orford Provincial Park, both operated by Sépaq. Domaine Des Cantons Inc and Camping La Mine De Cuivre round out the nearby options. Most sites in this area support trailers and motorhomes, with serviced and unserviced loops available depending on the property.

Sites inside Parc national du Mont-Orford, including Lac Stukely and Lac Fraser, are booked through the Sépaq reservation system at sepaq.com or by phone at 1-800-665-6527. Summer reservations typically open in early November of the previous year, and creating a Sépaq account in advance speeds up checkout when popular loops release. Minimum-night requirements may apply during peak periods, and full payment is taken at the time of booking. Sépaq is a Quebec provincial agency, so a daily or annual park access right is required in addition to the campsite fee. Private campgrounds such as Camping Plage Mckenzie, Domaine Des Cantons Inc, and Camping La Mine De Cuivre are booked directly through each operator's website or by phone. For July and August weekends, book serviced RV sites two to three months ahead.
