Campgrounds and RV parks near Waldheim, SK

Waldheim is a small town in central Saskatchewan, roughly 57 kilometres north of Saskatoon, sitting in farming country along Highway 312. RV renters typically use it as a quiet base for reaching the South Saskatchewan River valley, several regional parks, and historic sites including Fort Carlton, Batoche, and Seager Wheeler's Maple Grove Farm, all located near the town. Camping options within about an hour's drive cover regional parks, city-run sites, and private RV resorts. Martin's Lake Regional Park sits northwest near Blaine Lake and offers lakeside sites with electrical hookups. Closer to Saskatoon, Campland RV Resort, River Valley RV Park in Langham, Gordon Howe Campground inside the city, and Travel-Inn Resort and Campground A provide serviced sites suited to larger rigs. The area suits families looking for beach days, fishing, and short drives between attractions, without the crowds found in Saskatchewan's larger destination parks farther north.

Reservation systems vary by operator. Saskatchewan Regional Parks use the LetsCamp platform. For Martin's Lake, bookings of 30 days or more open March 1 at 9:00 a.m. online, and bookings under 30 days open March 15 at 9:00 a.m. Phone and email reservations are not accepted until the front gate opens on May 15. Gordon Howe Campground takes bookings through the City of Saskatoon, online and by phone at 1-866-855-6655. Private operators such as Campland RV Resort, River Valley RV Park, and Travel-Inn Resort and Campground A handle bookings directly through their own sites or by phone. For long weekends, reserve as far ahead as the system allows. At Martin's Lake, bookings of 30 days or more require cancellation at least 14 days prior for a full refund with a cancellation fee applied, and bookings under 30 days require cancellation at least 7 days prior.
