Camping near Brewton, Alabama
Brewton sits in Escambia County in south-central Alabama, just north of the Florida Panhandle and roughly an hour inland from the Gulf Coast. The area serves as a practical inland base for RV travelers heading to Pensacola, Gulf Shores, or the pine forests and blackwater creeks of the Alabama-Florida line. Interstate 65 runs a short distance east, giving easy access from Mobile and Montgomery.
The local terrain is coastal plain: level to gently rolling land, longleaf and loblolly pine, hardwood bottoms, and slow-moving creeks including Murder Creek and Burnt Corn Creek. Summers are hot and humid, winters are mild, and rain is spread through the year with a summer peak.
Campground options range from simple in-town RV parks to full-service reserves with lakes, tubing, and horse trails. Brewton RV Park LLC is the closest option in town, while River Farms, Hidden Lake Resort, Sunburst RV Resort, and Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve sit within a short drive and offer a wider range of amenities and activities.
Things to do around Brewton
Water activities dominate the region. Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve offers tubing and canoe trips on Big Escambia Creek, several stocked fishing lakes where no Alabama fishing license is required on-site, kayak rentals, and marked hiking and horseback riding trails through longleaf and loblolly pine. Hidden Lake Resort centers on a lake with pools, walking paths, and a dog-friendly setting.
In town, the Thomas E. McMillan Museum houses regional history and Jennings Park hosts the annual Alabama Blueberry Festival. Conecuh National Forest lies a short drive north, with the Conecuh Trail running roughly 20 miles through pine stands, hardwood bottomlands, and cypress ponds. Open Pond Recreation Area sits within the forest, offering fishing, swimming, and access to trails.
Gulf beaches at Pensacola, Perdido Key, and Gulf Shores are reachable as day trips from any Brewton-area campground.

help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I drive my Brewton RV rental across state lines into Florida or other states?

The Florida state line sits just south, putting Pensacola Beach, Destin, and the Emerald Coast within an easy half-day drive. Many guests also head west to Mississippi's Gulf Coast or east toward Tallahassee. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage doesn't extend there, but every other US state and Canadian province is generally fair game with host approval, so confirm your route with the host before booking. Fuel is usually the biggest variable on any motorhome rental Brewton trip, but it's predictable once you know the numbers. Class C motorhomes average 8 to 12 miles per gallon (MPG), Class A rigs run 6 to 10 MPG, and a truck towing a travel trailer typically gets 10 to 14 MPG. Alabama gas prices tend to run below the national average, often around $2.80 to $3.20 per gallon in Brewton. For a 300-mile round trip to Gulf Shores and back in a Class C, budget roughly $90 to $115 in fuel. Pro tip: fill up at the Murphy USA or Circle K on Douglas Avenue before heading toward smaller Conecuh County roads.

rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Brewton%2C%20AlabamaHow does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
Payment is straightforward and secure: you pay through RVezy (never directly to the host) with a credit card, and your trip total is charged at booking. A separate refundable security deposit is pre-authorized on your card shortly before your trip starts and released after a clean return with no damage. Amounts vary by RV but commonly range from $500 to $1,500. To avoid issues, take a quick walk-around video at pickup and return, document fuel and waste tank levels, and keep all communication inside the RVezy app. Pro tip: review mileage and generator hour totals with your host at return so the deposit releases quickly.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksWhat overnight parking or boondocking options exist in and around Brewton?
