Campgrounds and RV parks near Malone, FL

The main draw is Florida Caverns State Park near Marianna, the only Florida state park with dry caves open to the public via guided tours. Above ground, the park offers hiking, horseback trails, a swimming area at Blue Hole spring, and paddling on the Chipola River. Merritt's Mill Pond, a clear spring-fed pond next to Florida Caverns RV Resort at Merritt's Mill Pond, is popular for kayaking, snorkeling, cavern diving, and largemouth bass fishing. Closer to town, the annual Malone Pecan Festival celebrates the area's long-standing pecan industry with a parade, food, and local crafts. Cell coverage across major carriers is generally reliable near the I-10 corridor and thins on rural back roads. Malone itself has limited services, so stock up in Marianna.
