Campgrounds and RV parks near Broxton, GA

Broxton sits in Coffee County in south Georgia's wiregrass region, within easy RV-driving distance of two established state park campgrounds and several private RV parks. The area is flat, pine-forested, and cut by blackwater streams, with the Seventeen-Mile River winding through cypress swamp just west of town. General Coffee State Park, the closest major public campground, is known for the agricultural exhibits at its Heritage Farm, with log cabins, a corn crib, tobacco barn, cane mill, and farm animals including goats, sheep, chickens, and pigs. Little Ocmulgee State Park and Lodge, roughly an hour north, is a Georgia Department of Natural Resources campground that operates alongside a lodge, golf course, and cabin rentals, and accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. Private options nearby include Dreamland Parks/Dreamland RV Park, The Trolley Stop RV Park, and Pebble Hill RV Resort, which serve travelers looking for longer-stay hookups or a base for exploring rural south Georgia. Broxton itself provides basic services, with larger grocery and fuel stops in Douglas.
