Campgrounds and RV parks near Sparks, GA

Sparks sits along Interstate 75 in Cook County, in south Georgia's Coastal Plain. The area functions as a practical stopover for RVers moving between the Southeast and Florida, and as a base for lake recreation and wildlife viewing. Camping options range from a full-service state park to private RV parks with pull-through, full-hookup sites. The closest public option is Reed Bingham State Park, in nearby Adel, where reservations are available year-round. The campground splits into two loops, and Loop 1 received a 2023 renovation that added sewer hookups and upgraded electrical service with 50/30/20-amp options. The 1,600-acre park sits alongside a 375-acre lake and is less than six miles from Interstate 75, about six miles west of Adel via Highway 37. Private options in and around Sparks include Cecil Bay RV Park, Cain's Creekside RV Park, and The Trolley Stop RV Park. For travelers routing through Tifton to the north, Tifton KOA Journey adds another full-hookup option about 180 miles south of Atlanta and 250 miles north of Orlando, which makes the corridor a common overnight break on longer I-75 trips.

Reed Bingham State Park is reserved through the Georgia State Parks system, either online at gastateparks.org or by phone at 1-800-864-7275. Reservations can be made up to 13 months in advance, and Georgia residents may book up to 14 months out. A 50 percent deposit is required to confirm most reservations, with the balance due at check-in. Sites accommodate RVs up to 50 feet, and a daily ParkPass or annual pass is required in addition to the campsite fee. Private parks such as Cecil Bay RV Park, Cain's Creekside RV Park, and The Trolley Stop RV Park take reservations directly by phone or through their websites. Tifton KOA Journey books through the KOA website or app. When booking a rental RV, confirm site length, hookup type, and slide clearance with the park before arrival.
