Campgrounds and RV parks near Glenview, KY

Glenview is a small residential city in northeastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, sitting on bluffs above the Ohio River just north of downtown Louisville. Because Glenview itself is a compact historic community with no campgrounds inside its boundaries, RV travelers base themselves at parks in the surrounding Louisville metro and across the river in southern Indiana, then day-trip into the city. The closest full-hookup option is Louisville North Campground in Clarksville, Indiana, a year-round RV park located just across the Ohio River from downtown Louisville with easy access to Interstates 65, 64, and 71. Additional private parks in the area include Silver Lakes Motorhome Complex and RV Park, Add-more RV Park, and Brooks RV Park and Campground, giving travelers a range of hookup and layout options. For a state-park experience, Charlestown State Park sits along the Ohio River in Clark County, Indiana, and is the nearest public campground with a developed RV loop.

Private RV parks in the Louisville area, including Louisville North Campground, Silver Lakes Motorhome Complex and RV Park, Add-more RV Park, and Brooks RV Park and Campground, are typically booked directly through each park's own website or phone line. Reserve well ahead for Derby week, summer weekends, and any date that overlaps a major downtown event. Charlestown State Park uses the Indiana Department of Natural Resources reservation system, hosted on ReserveAmerica. Campsites can be booked for today and up to six months in advance. An Indiana state park entrance fee is charged per vehicle in addition to the nightly camping charge, with lower rates for in-state plates than for out-of-state plates.
