Campgrounds and RV parks near Estherwood, LA

Crowley, seven miles east, hosts the International Rice Festival, held annually during the third weekend in October, Louisiana's oldest agricultural festival and one of the state's largest. It draws heavy RV traffic, so parks like Frog City RV Park and Cajun Haven RV Park fill early that weekend. Expect mosquitoes and biting flies from spring through fall, especially near ponds and wetlands. Bring repellent, screens in good repair, and a plan for sudden thunderstorms.
