Campgrounds and RV parks near Verona, MO

Verona sits in Lawrence County in southwest Missouri, along U.S. Highway 60 between Monett and Aurora. The town is a practical staging point for RV trips into the western Ozarks, with the James River corridor to the south and the wider southwest Missouri hill country stretching toward the Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas borders. Options close to town lean toward small, privately run RV parks rather than large resort complexes. Beagle Bay RV Haven Campground and Hwy 60 RV Park serve travelers looking for straightforward overnight stops with hookups, while Oak Hill Court and RV Park caters to longer-stay guests. James Rivers Outfitters supports paddlers using the James River, and Fair Haven Cove Resort RV Sites provides a more resort-style base within reach of Table Rock Lake. From Verona, drivers reach Springfield in under an hour and Branson in roughly ninety minutes, making the town a quieter alternative to lakeside resort areas while still keeping major Ozark attractions in day-trip range.

Private RV parks around Verona, including Beagle Bay RV Haven Campground, Hwy 60 RV Park, Oak Hill Court and RV Park, and Fair Haven Cove Resort RV Sites, generally take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Availability tightens quickly on summer weekends and around holidays, so booking several weeks ahead is prudent. Missouri State Parks, including Roaring River State Park, use the state's central reservation system at mostateparks.com, which now opens campsite bookings up to 12 months in advance. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds on Table Rock Lake are reserved through Recreation.gov, typically up to six months out. For float trips, contact James Rivers Outfitters directly to arrange put-in times, shuttle service, and any on-site camping.
