New York State Parks accepts camping reservations up to nine months in advance, and same-day reservations can be made through Reserve America before 3 p.m. Golden Hill also offers yurts and a Lighthouse Cottage rental, both of which require advance booking. Medina / Wildwood Lake KOA Holiday is booked directly through the KOA reservation system on koa.com or by phone. Niagara Hartland RV Resort and Redbreeze Campground take bookings through their own websites. For summer holiday weekends and lakefront sites, booking several months out is strongly recommended.

What to expect

Medina / Wildwood Lake KOA Holiday is a large, family-oriented park with pull-throughs, 50-amp full hookups, and space for big rigs, with maximum pull-through length listed at 80 feet. Expect a mix of open and shaded sites, an on-site store, and organized weekend activities from mid-June through Labor Day, plus themed weekends into the fall.
