Campgrounds and RV parks near Amberley, OH

Amberley is a village in Hamilton County, tucked inside Greater Cincinnati about a fifteen-minute drive from downtown. RV travelers use it as a base for exploring the Ohio River corridor, the Cincinnati Zoo, Kings Island, and the wooded parks of Hamilton and Warren counties. Because Amberley itself is residential, most RV parks sit on the outskirts of Cincinnati or across the river in northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana, all within a short drive. Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage and Tuckers Landing RV Park lie west of the city along the Ohio River. Cincinnati Campsites offers a closer-in option for travelers who want quick access to the urban core. Riverfront RV Park sits along the river with easy highway access for larger rigs. For families heading to the amusement parks, Camp Cedar RV Resort is positioned near Kings Island in Warren County, roughly thirty minutes north of Amberley. The mix of private RV resorts, county park campgrounds, and nearby Ohio state parks gives travelers options from full-hookup resorts to more rustic lakeside sites.

Private RV parks around Cincinnati, including Hidden Valley RV Park and Storage, Cincinnati Campsites, Tuckers Landing RV Park, Camp Cedar RV Resort, and Riverfront RV Park, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Summer weekends and stays tied to Kings Island events or Cincinnati Reds and Bengals home games fill first, so booking six to eight weeks ahead is standard for peak dates. Ohio state park campgrounds use the ReserveOhio system at reserveohio.com or by phone at 866-644-6727. Campsite reservations open six months to the day before the arrival date, and new inventory releases at 7 a.m. Eastern. Popular parks like East Fork can sell out summer holiday weekends within minutes of opening. Great Parks of Hamilton County campgrounds, including Winton Woods, use a separate reservation portal. Confirm hookup type, rig length limits, and cancellation windows before booking.
