Campgrounds and RV parks near Boston Heights, OH

Boston Heights is a small village in Summit County, Ohio, positioned between Cleveland and Akron and effectively surrounded by Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which protects forests, gorges, wetlands, and waterfalls along the Cuyahoga River corridor. RV travelers use the village as a practical base because camping is not permitted inside the national park itself, but private campgrounds sit within a short drive. Most trips center on the eastern edge of the national park, where the Boston Mill Visitor Center, Brandywine Falls, and the Ledges Trailhead are reached in minutes. Overnight RV parking is not allowed anywhere in the park, so campers stay at commercial parks and drive in for day use. The closest full-service option is the Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA Holiday, roughly 15 minutes east on State Route 303. Woodside Lake Park, Roundup Lake RV Park, and Cherokee Park Campground sit slightly farther out toward Streetsboro, Mantua, and Mogadore. Green Valley Nudist Camp also operates in the area but is a clothing-optional, members-oriented facility rather than a general RV park.

Most nearby campgrounds take reservations directly on their own websites or through booking platforms such as KOA.com, Campspot, and Good Sam. The Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA Holiday books through the KOA site or by phone. Woodside Lake Park and Roundup Lake RV Park list on Campspot, and Cherokee Park Campground takes reservations through its own website and is listed on Good Sam. Cancellation windows are strict at the KOA. RV and tent sites require seven days of notice by 4 p.m., holiday weekends require two weeks of notice, and lodging requires 14 days of notice. Woodside Lake Park requires a two-night minimum stay, and holiday weekends require a three-night minimum. Confirm any rig-age or big-rig length rules with the operator before booking, as several parks in the area have restrictions.
