Campgrounds and RV parks near Celina, OH

Celina sits on the northwest shore of Grand Lake St. Marys, one of the largest inland lakes in Ohio, in the flat farm country of Mercer County. The area works as a practical base for RV travelers who want lake access, small-town services, and easy driving distance to Dayton, Fort Wayne, and Lima. Grand Lake St Marys State Park is the primary public campground in the area and anchors most RV trips to Celina. Lake Loramie State Park lies about a half-hour east and offers a second Ohio State Parks option with a quieter shoreline. Privately operated grounds fill in the gaps: Easy Campground and Timberwoods RV Park serve travelers looking for full hookups, while Rossburg Acres Campground caters to families and event-goers heading to Eldora Speedway. Most sites in the region are level, shaded by hardwoods, and sized for mid-to-large travel trailers and motorhomes. Cell service is generally reliable, and grocery, fuel, and dump-station access are straightforward from any of the listed grounds.

Ohio State Parks sites, including Grand Lake St Marys State Park and Lake Loramie State Park, are reserved through the ODNR reservation system at reserveohio.com or by calling the central number. Booking opens up to six months in advance on a rolling daily basis. Summer weekends and holiday weeks book out early, so travelers should reserve as soon as the window opens. Private grounds handle reservations directly. Easy Campground, Rossburg Acres Campground, and Timberwoods RV Park take bookings by phone or through their own websites, and holiday weekends often require a minimum-night stay. Before locking in a site, confirm rig length, slide clearance, and hookup type. Some loops at the state parks are electric-only, and dump stations are centralized rather than site-side.
