Campgrounds and RV parks near Crystal Lakes, OH

Crystal Lakes is a small census-designated place in Bethel Township, Clark County, sitting between Dayton and Springfield in southwestern Ohio. Springfield lies about 13 miles to the northeast and Dayton about 15 miles to the southwest, which puts RV travelers within an easy drive of Interstate 70, the National Museum of the United States Air Force, and the Little Miami River corridor. The area suits families running an RV out of Dayton or Cincinnati for a long weekend. Private parks close to Crystal Lakes handle full-hookup stays, while John Bryan State Park, in western Ohio, offers 752 acres of scenery plus a stunning limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami State and National Scenic River, roughly a half hour south near Yellow Springs. Enon Beach Campground sits just up the road toward Springfield, and Green Valley RV Park, Poor Farmers RV Sales and Services, and Sky Lake RV Resort and Campground round out the closest cluster of options. Expect gently rolling farmland, mixed hardwood forest along the river gorges, and short drives to Dayton attractions rather than backcountry wilderness.

John Bryan State Park reservations may be made six months in advance online or by calling 866-644-6727, through the ReserveOhio system operated by Ohio State Parks. Summer weekends and holidays fill quickly, so booking as soon as the window opens is the safest approach. Electric sites are limited, so travelers who need hookups should book early. Private parks including Enon Beach Campground, Green Valley RV Park, Sky Lake RV Resort and Campground, and Poor Farmers RV Sales and Services book directly with each operator by phone or through their websites. Big-rig and slide-out RV travelers should confirm site length and amp service (20, 30, or 50 amp) when reserving, and confirm seasonal opening dates, since some private parks in the corridor operate on a spring-to-fall schedule.
