Campgrounds near Felicity, Ohio
Felicity sits in Clermont County in southwest Ohio, a short drive from the Ohio River and William H. Harsha Lake (East Fork Lake). The village is small, but RV travelers have several established campgrounds within roughly a 30- to 45-minute radius, straddling the Ohio-Kentucky border.
The closest options include Cabin Run Creek Campground LLC and White Oak Marina & Campground, a family-run marina and RV park on the Ohio River. A short drive north, East Fork State Park Campground is one of Ohio's largest state park campgrounds, with more than 400 sites, most of them wooded and open year-round.
Across the river in Kentucky, Kincaid Lake State Park sits on 850 acres of rolling woodland around a 183-acre lake in Pendleton County. Riverfront RV Park rounds out the closer options for travelers who want to stay on or near the Ohio River. Together these campgrounds cover a range of styles, from full-hookup RV pads to primitive lakeside sites.
Things to do near Felicity
Water recreation dominates the area. William H. Harsha Lake at East Fork State Park is a 2,160-acre reservoir with unlimited-horsepower boating, seven launch ramps, a 1,200-foot swim beach, and fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and hybrid striped bass. White Oak Marina & Campground provides direct access to the Ohio River for boating and paddling.
On land, East Fork State Park maintains an extensive trail network shared by hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders, including the 33-mile Steve Newman World-Walker perimeter trail. Kincaid Lake State Park adds a nine-hole golf course, mini-golf, a junior olympic swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts, and rental boats on a quiet 10-hp lake, useful when kids need variety on a longer stay.

43° / 27°F 76 mmCold; limited water at some state park campgrounds
The region has four distinct seasons. Spring is wet, with May typically the wettest month; expect soft ground at unpaved sites and occasional storm cells. It is also the strongest season for tornado risk in southern Ohio and northern Kentucky, so plan to monitor weather radios.
Summer is the busiest camping season. Peak season at Kincaid Lake State Park runs May 20 through October 31, and East Fork's beach, boat ramps, and campground fill on holiday weekends. Heat and humidity build through July and August, and afternoon thunderstorms are common. Fall brings cooler nights, drier air, and foliage color from mid-October into early November, and remains an excellent window for RV travel.
Winters can be cold. Kentucky State Parks note that water and other resources cannot be guaranteed at campgrounds during freezing months, so hookup availability is limited. Kincaid Lake's campground closes for the cold season in mid-November and reopens in mid-March.
How to book campgrounds near Felicity
East Fork State Park Campground reservations are handled through the Ohio State Parks system (ReserveOhio) online or by phone up to six months in advance. There is no walk-in self-registration; sites must be booked in advance or through the camp store during open hours. Loops vary in features, so check whether a specific loop offers full hookups, electric only, or equestrian access before booking.
Kincaid Lake State Park uses the Kentucky State Parks reservation system via ReserveAmerica. Reservations must be made at least one day ahead and can be placed up to 12 months in advance. There is a one-night minimum on weekdays and a two-night minimum on weekends. For private parks such as White Oak Marina & Campground, Cabin Run Creek Campground LLC, and Riverfront RV Park, book directly with the operator, especially for summer weekends.
What to expect on arrival
At East Fork State Park Campground, sites have paved pads, picnic tables, and fire rings, with 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electric service and a smaller number of full-hookup sites. Amenities include showerhouses, a dump station, a camp store, playgrounds, and beach and boat ramp access. Leashed pets are permitted in all areas except the beach sand.
Kincaid Lake State Park has a central bathhouse with hot showers, laundry, and an RV dump station; some pads are uneven, so bring leveling blocks. Kentucky prohibits bringing firewood from outside the state, so plan to buy it at the camp store. Cell service can be limited at the more remote lakeside and riverfront parks, so download maps and reservation confirmations before arrival.

Yes, RV delivery in Felicity is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first-timers who would rather skip towing or driving a big rig. They set up the rig, level it, connect hookups, and walk you through every system before handing over the keys. Delivery fees usually depend on mileage from the host's location, so filter listings by Delivery and message hosts to get an exact quote for your address.

ohiodnr.gov/go-and-do/plan-a-visit/find-a-property/east-fork-state-parkWhen is the best time of year for an RV trip from Felicity?
Late April through mid-October is the sweet spot for a Felicity RV trip, with daytime highs ranging from the mid-60s F in spring to the mid- to upper-80s F in July and August, and crisp 60s to 70s returning in September and October. Fall is a local favorite: the Ohio River bluffs and Clermont County back roads light up with color from mid-October to early November, and campgrounds are quieter. Summer brings warm, humid days perfect for lake swimming at East Fork. Winters dip into the 20s and 30s F with occasional snow, so if you book December through February, choose a four-season RV with a furnace and prep for cold-weather camping.
weather.gov/iln/I've never rented an RV before. Will I be okay driving one around Felicity?
You've got this, and first time renting an RV in Felicity is genuinely one of the easier places to start. The roads around Clermont County are mostly two-lane rural routes with light traffic, perfect for getting comfortable behind the wheel before any bigger trips. Every RVezy host gives you a full walkthrough at pickup covering driving tips, leveling, hookups, and dump station basics, and you can message them anytime during your trip with questions. Nervous about size? Start with a smaller travel trailer or Class B campervan rental in Felicity. Pro tip: practice a few right turns and backing up in a large day-use lot like East Fork State Park's before heading to your site.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsWhat happens if I break down during my RV trip?
Don't sweat it: 24/7 roadside assistance is included with RVezy protection plans, so help is always just a phone call away whether you're parked at Stonelick State Park or cruising US-52 along the Ohio River. The service covers common issues like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and towing to the nearest qualified shop. On top of that, your host knows their rig better than anyone and is usually the fastest resource for quirky questions, and RVezy's support team is reachable before, during, and after your trip. Pro tip: save the roadside number and your host's contact info in your phone before you leave Felicity.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionCan I take my Felicity RV rental to Kentucky or other states?
Yes, interstate travel is welcome on most RVezy rentals, and an RV road trip from Felicity is especially fun because you're right on the Kentucky border, just minutes from Ohio River bridge crossings. Popular routes include heading south into Kentucky bourbon country, west toward Indiana's Brown County State Park (about 2.5 hours), or east into West Virginia's New River Gorge (around 4.5 to 5 hours). Travel to Mexico is not allowed on RVezy rentals, but cross-country US trips and Canada travel may be possible with host approval. Confirm your route with the host before booking so they can flag any mileage or destination notes upfront.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityHow much will fuel cost for my Felicity RV trip?
Fuel is one of the easier costs to budget for in Ohio, where gas prices typically run near or a bit below the national average. Most Class C motorhomes get around 8 to 10 miles per gallon, travel trailers reduce your tow vehicle to roughly 10 to 14 MPG, and campervans can stretch to 15 to 20 MPG. For a 300-mile loop from Felicity to Hocking Hills and back in a Class C, plan on roughly $100 to $140 in gas at typical Ohio prices. Fill up in Felicity or Bethel before heading out, since rural Clermont County stations can run a few cents higher. Pro tip: use GasBuddy to spot the cheapest pumps along US-52 and SR-125.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campground near Felicity?
For the best sites, book Ohio State Parks campgrounds like East Fork and Stonelick up to six months ahead through the official ODNR reservation portal, especially for Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day weekends, which sell out fast. Private parks like Cincinnati East KOA generally open reservations many months to a year in advance. Midweek stays in May, September, and October are much easier and you can often book just a week or two out. Pro tip: if a riverside site at East Fork shows as taken, set up a free cancellation alert, locals swear by these tools for snagging last-minute openings along the Clermont County lakeshore.
ohiodnr.gov/go-and-do/plan-a-visit/reserve-a-siteWhat are the driving conditions like around Felicity, OH?
Driving an RV around Felicity is refreshingly low-stress: most roads are quiet two-lane rural routes with gentle hills and farm scenery. US-52 hugs the Ohio River and is a beautiful, manageable drive with a few curves but no mountain grades. State Route 133 connects Felicity to Bethel and East Fork State Park with smooth pavement and easy turns. Avoid taking a Class A through downtown Cincinnati during rush hour, stick to I-275 or have the host deliver instead. Watch for deer at dawn and dusk on rural stretches, and after heavy spring rains keep an eye out for low-water crossings near creeks. Otherwise, it's a genuinely friendly area for big-rig newbies.
transportation.ohio.gov/What amenities can I expect at campgrounds near Felicity?
Campgrounds around Felicity offer a great range of amenities for every comfort level. East Fork State Park has hundreds of electric sites, modern restrooms with hot showers, a dump station, potable water fill-up, a camp store, and lake swimming. Stonelick State Park provides electric hookups, flush toilets, and a dump station. Cincinnati East KOA offers full hookups (water, electric, sewer), Wi-Fi, a pool, and propane refills on-site. Need to dump tanks mid-trip? East Fork's dump station is open to registered campers and many KOAs welcome non-guests for a small fee. Pro tip: top off your fresh water tank before leaving the campground since rural fill stations along SR-133 are limited.
ohiodnr.gov/go-and-do/plan-a-visit/find-a-property/east-fork-state-parkWhat's actually inside the RVs I can rent in Felicity?

Expect real beds (queen masters are common), a kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, and sink, an indoor bathroom with toilet and shower, climate control with AC and furnace, and dining seating with seatbelts for safe travel. Many listings include a TV, Bluetooth speakers, an outdoor awning, and some offer generators or solar for off-grid stays. Wi-Fi varies, so if you need to work remotely from your campsite at East Fork, ask the host about a mobile hotspot. Each listing page shows a full amenity checklist, so you can match the rig to your family's must-haves before booking.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Felicity%2C%20OhioWhat add-ons and options can I get with my RV rental?

Some hosts include these for free, others charge a small flat fee that's clearly listed on the page. Pickup and dropoff is usually at the host's location in or near Felicity, with delivery widely available if you would rather have it brought to your campsite. Mileage policies vary by host, with daily allowances of 100 to 150 miles common and unlimited mileage offered on select listings. Pro tip: bundle add-ons up front to save versus buying gear locally.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Felicity%2C%20OhioHow do payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
Payment is straightforward and fully handled through the RVezy platform, with no cash or side deals with hosts, so your booking is secure from the moment you confirm. You pay the rental total at booking using a credit or debit card. A refundable security deposit is held separately before your trip, with the amount set per listing based on the RV's value, and it is released back to you after the host confirms the rig was returned clean and undamaged. To avoid any deposit issues, do a quick walkthrough video with the host at pickup and dropoff in Felicity, dump tanks before returning, and refill the fuel to the level noted in your agreement.
