Campgrounds and RV parks near Jeffersonville, OH

Jeffersonville sits at the I-71 and US-35 crossroads in Fayette County, roughly midway between Columbus and Dayton. That location makes it a practical base for RV travelers heading to the outlet mall, the Little Miami River corridor, or the state parks in Clark and Greene counties. Terrain is flat farm country close to town, transitioning to wooded gorges and reservoir shoreline within a short drive west. Private options in the surrounding area include Sky Lake RV Resort and Sky Lake RV Resort and Campground, along with Tomorrow's Stars RV Resort. Sky Lake is a year-round park with full hookup waterfront RV sites, located near I-70 with easy access to Yellow Springs, Clifton Gorge, Buck Creek, and John Bryan State Park. For public-land camping, John Bryan State Park in western Ohio contains a remarkable limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami River, which is designated as a state and national scenic river, with a portion of the gorge designated as a national natural landmark. Buck Creek State Park rounds out the nearby state-park options, centered on a large reservoir west of the city.

Ohio State Parks use a single reservation system for John Bryan, Buck Creek, and other state properties. Reservations may be made online through ReserveOhio.com or by calling (866) 644-6727. Campsite and cabin windows differ. At John Bryan, campsite reservations can be made for today and up to six months in advance. Buck Creek has a two-night minimum for cabin stays, and cabin reservations can be made up to a year in advance. Summer weekends at both parks fill early, so booking as soon as the window opens is advised. Private resorts like Sky Lake RV Resort, Sky Lake RV Resort and Campground, and Tomorrow's Stars RV Resort book directly through their own websites or phone lines and typically accept longer advance windows than state parks, useful for peak-season and holiday stays.
