Lake Mohawk is a small community in Carroll County, Ohio, built around a private reservoir roughly 1.5 miles south of Malvern and about 15 miles southeast of Canton. The lake itself sits inside a gated, property-owner-only community, so RV travelers stage nearby and use the surrounding Muskingum Watershed lakes and private parks as their base. The strongest RV options cluster to the south and east around Atwood and Leesville lakes. Atwood Lake Park Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Dist, operated by the MWCD, is the largest developed campground in the area, with more than 500 campsites ranging from full-hookup lakefront sites to wooded electric and basic sites. The reservation holder must be at least 18 and must occupy the site. Camping check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 2:00 PM, with quiet hours from 11 PM to 7 AM.
